VAM Systems WLL is currently looking for Network Engineer for our Qatar operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Skill set required
- 6 + years Industry-related experience as Network Administrator
- Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP) CCIE preferable
- Solid background in network administration and architecture
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
- Familiarity with access control models and network security
- Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools, Cisco Prime, HP)
- Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS)
- Sharp troubleshooting skills in F5 and cisco Devices
- Ability to work independently
- Organizational and mentoring skills
- BSc/B-tech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure
- Resolving issues that tiers of support have escalated
- Mentoring team members and addressing user needs
- Data Center Migration.
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
- Maintain complete technical documentation
- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
